You’re amazing at what you do.

Now, you just need to explain it to people:

Investors. Customers. Your mom.

Forward-thinking people will change the world. But only if the world cares.

Stories make people care.

Storytelling doesn’t only sell. It connects you with your clients, and motivates them to support everything you do . . . not just the one thing you happen to be doing right now.

If you want to stand out in the noisy mess of the Internet, you need a story that will set you apart. It’s that simple.

SPACE K9 offers brand-story solutions to deliver your innovations to the world.

Ready to Level Up Your Storytelling?

No matter your storytelling needs, we got you covered.

Copywriting

Your webcopy is often the first way a client hears about your brand.

To hook them on the spot, it’s all about nailing that irresistible value proposition with client-facing intentional copy. What you write about yourself and your company becomes your calling card, so it’s critical that every word is crafted with a purpose.

Copy has the power to move people. One of our clients generated over $250,000 on Kickstarter—more than 500% of their original goal.

There are few purer forms of storytelling than the written word, and copy is our bread and butter. Let us help you take your written story to the next level.

Content Marketing

Whether we like to admit it or not, people usually aren’t sitting around googling our businesses. And the truth is, invasive ads just aren’t cutting it anymore.

So, how do you become a household name? Content marketing. You craft the content that people are googling for, and then suddenly they’re knocking at your doorstep.

Content marketing can take many different forms. Blog posts. White papers. YouTube videos. eBooks. Podcasts. You name it. The options are nearly endless, but the trick is, you have to be consistent—only then will you attract an audience . . . and convert.

Fortunately, we can take care of that for you. We offer a retainer service: a set-it-and-forget-it solution to all your content marketing needs.

Brand Development

These days, it’s not enough to have a killer product, a wicked logo, and a catchy name. Your audience needs to know you can help them achieve all their hopes and dreams.

Many times, when new companies formulate their brand persona, they position themselves as the hero. The cool guy. The biggest, the bestest, the greatest.

But here’s the thing: your audience couldn’t care less about you. They want to know how you are going to make them better. That’s why we help all of our brand development clients build a killer, compelling Mentor Persona.

So, who are you? The Geeky Best Friend? The Wizened Mage? The Hippie Guru?

Let’s find out.

F.A.Q.

Here are some of our most frequently asked questions.
What kinds of companies / people do you work with?
We work with people who have big ideas in any industry. In the past, we’ve thrived with companies that create innovative technology or software, as well as “do-good” brands looking to disrupt social inequities in a given field.

Basically, if you’re doing something cool but it’s hard to explain, we’ve got your back.

What kinds of companies / people DON'T you work with?
Aside from super shady stuff, we work with everyone. That being said, we consider storytelling to be a collaborative process.

We’re not making up a story for you—we’re uncovering the story that already exists. So, we work with team players who are willing to engage in dialogues and give feedback.

What's your approach to copy? What tone do you use?
Our goal is to be a copy chameleon. We discover and adopt the ideal personality for your brand and produce copy from that perspective.

That being said, we do our best work with companies who are comfortable with conversational, concise copy. Our natural voice is what you see on our website—plus or minus a bit of formality.

How many revisions do you offer?
While we do extensive groundwork in the Discovery phase, sometimes the copy delivered needs tweaking. And that’s more than fine! We see this as a collaborative process. Since this is your story, nobody knows it like you do, and we hope you’ll always give us honest, constructive feedback.

We don’t put a cap on the number of revisions we offer, so long as we aren’t changing an agreed-upon direction.

How does payment work?
Once we both sign a digital project contract, we will invoice for 70% of the project. We invoice for the remaining 30% when the project is initially delivered.

We use a service called And.Co, and we accept PayPal (our preferred method) and all major credit cards. All invoices are sent and paid online.

I love your website and illustrations! Who made them?
Thank you! It was definitely a collaborative effort. We did the first draft ourselves, and quickly decided we were in over our heads. From there, we worked with a very talented developer out of Australia, Paul Yates. He knocked it out of the park.

The illustrations were all done by an amazing artist named Arnav Muzumdar. Check out his work on Instagram, or contact him for your own projects on Fiverr. Let him know the space dog people sent you!

Do you do visual design for brands as well?
While we at SPACE K9 focus exclusively on written and verbal storytelling, we do make visual branding recommendations to our Brand Development clients. For instance, we include suggested colors, vibes, look-alike websites, etc.

While we don’t do graphic design in-house, we’re more than happy to collaborate with one of our trusted partners to create whatever you’re looking for: a new website, a logo, brand visual guidelines, etc.
